SDHC issued the NOFA to identify qualified and experienced organizations to construct, acquire, or acquire and rehabilitate affordable rental housing in the City of San Diego for households with incomes of 30 to 60 percent of San Diego’s Area Median Income (AMI), currently $24,300 to $48,600 a year for a family of four.

This NOFA sets aside approximately $8 million from diverse Federal and Local funding sources, such as the City of San Diego’s Housing Trust Fund and Federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds granted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the City of San Diego and administered by SDHC, for the creation of affordable rental housing.

Applications for funding will be considered based on the threshold requirements and preference/priorities set in the NOFA. The NOFA is an open application process until all available funds have been committed by SDHC.
