As a Moving to Work (MTW) agency, the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) is required to develop an MTW Annual Plan that outlines and identifies policies SDHC plans to change and programs that may be implemented during the next fiscal year.
Each year, SDHC holds a public meeting to present the proposed MTW Annual Plan. Members of the public may provide comments about the plan verbally or in writing.
SDHC’s proposed MTW Annual Plan is then presented as an informational workshop to the SDHC Board of Commissioners.
A month later, SDHC staff recommend that the SDHC Board approve the plan. If approved by the SDHC Board, the plan is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for approval.
The San Diego Housing Commission will hold a public hearing by video conference and telephone to receive public comments on the proposed FY 2022 MTW Annual Plan on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 9:00 AM.
