Driving Directions

From Interstate 5 south – Take southbound Interstate 5, then exit at “Highway 163 north/10^th Avenue” (Exit #16). Stay to the right toward the 10^th Avenue exit ramp. Turn left onto Broadway. Turn left on 11^th Avenue to enter parking garage.

From Interstate 15 south – Take southbound Interstate 15. Keep right to take Highway 163 until it ends (turns into 10^th Avenue). Stay on 10^th Avenue, then turn left onto Broadway. Turn left on 11^th Avenue to enter parking garage.

From Highway 94 west – Take westbound Highway 94 until freeway ends (turns into F Street). Continue on F Street, then turn right on 11^th Avenue to enter parking garage.

From Highway 163 south – Take southbound Highway 163 until it ends (turns into 10^th Avenue). Stay on 10^th Avenue, then turn left onto Broadway. Turn left on 11^th Avenue to enter parking garage.

From Interstate 5 north – Take northbound Interstate 5 to the “B Street/Pershing Drive” exit toward Civic Center. Take the B Street ramp toward Civic Center. Turn left onto B Street. Turn left onto 17^th Street. Turn right onto Broadway. Turn right on 11^th Avenue to enter parking garage.

Parking

Parking fees in SDHC’s underground parking garage are $1 for 30 minutes, or $2 per hour. Paid parking lots in the vicinity range from $4 to $10 per day. Metered parking can be found on the surrounding streets. SDHC only validates parking for housing assistance clients with scheduled appointments and job candidates with scheduled interviews. Parking validation is not available for other visitors.

Checking In

Proceed to SDHC’s first floor lobby, located on Broadway, and the Information Desk receptionists will assist you. Clients must have scheduled appointments to be seen by staff. If you have an appointment, you will be asked to sign in, show a government-issued form of identification, and wear a temporary visitor pass. Security will contact your host and will instruct you where to go.
