Vacancy Listing Service

Owners can list their vacant rental properties on the San Diego Housing Commission’s Rental Vacancy List. Effective August 1, 2008, SDHC has replaced its old Rental Vacancy List with a new, searchable database called “GOsection8.” Available at www.GOsection8.com, the online service is designed to maximize exposure to your rental listings and help keep your vacancies at a minimum.

Our Section 8 participants can view your property listings, match their search criteria with your available units, and target their queries to meet specific needs, such as rent ranges, bedroom numbers, or geographic location. Section 8 participants who don’t have Internet access will still be able to pick up a printed list in our lobby.

Get Started

To post a free listing now, go to www.GOsection8.com, click on “List Your Rental For Free” then follow the prompts. You will be asked to create a username and password to get started.

You can still post a listing by fax; just call 866.466.7328 to request that a form be mailed to you.
