Residual Receipts

Residual receipts loan compliance is an essential element in preserving and increasing affordable housing in the City of San Diego. Pursuant to the terms and provisions of Residual Receipts loans, owners are required to submit reports and records annually to the Housing Commission. The required reports and records are included in the annual compliance checklist below.

We recently revised the Residual Receipts Computation form. The new computation form is now a formulated excel workbook designed to allow owners to input specific line items from their financial statements resulting in a computation of the residual receipts due. It is important each of the seven worksheets in the computation form be completed in their entirety. The new computation form will allow the Housing Commission to better analyze the stability of the projects in our loan portfolio.

In an effort to continue the support of environmentally friendly procedures, we ask that you submit the residual receipts annual compliance documents electronically via email to residualreceipts@sdhc.org. You may also submit the documents in hard copy to:
